Do the logs at /tmp/calamares.log say anything useful?

I am having the same issue. the last thing the /tmp/calamares.log says is:
Running "chroot" ("/tmp/calamares-root-kigkphfz", "/etc/apricity-assets/postuseradd.sh"

Same thing. Installing this inside of VMware if that makes a diff.

I'm having the same problem, but it seems that hard rebooting into the fresh installation still works anyway
