Change filters to a search box

Filters do not seem to work well on basic pages or custom pages where there are a lot of pages. It's not clear what the filters are actually searching. To be honest, I prefer scrolling and manually searching than using the filters tool because the filters I create fail to return any results. I would much prefer a traditional search box that does basic keyword searching of titles, urls, and tags.
