Cannot work on Pycharm when using SSH to dev remotely

Describe the bug
The directory icon does not display correctly on Pycharm when using remote dev.

To Reproduce

1. Connect a remote project using SSH
2. Install the material icons plugin and restart
3. No icon is found at either the file tree or the setting menu in the sidebar.

Expected Behavior

Render and display the icon correctly.

It seems the plugin does not display here but I am sure both the host and the client install this plugin and its version is 101.0.1:

Apologies for the duplicate issue. It appears that the functionality may not work remotely. Please feel free to close this issue if deemed unnecessary.

I haven't checked in the remote environment, it's a bit hard to work since there is no local enviornment to test upon. But I'll take a look
