What would your feature do ?
Model preview for Checkpoint, Loras in the loader nodes. The custom nodes from Easy-Use, ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts and RGthree have integrated the preview of images that are stored as jpgs with the same name in the model directory. The images are displayed in their loaders simply by hovering over them. This is a very, very useful feature. It worked very well up until frontend 1.5.16, then it stopped working, then it started again, and for about 3 days it hasn't worked again. This always had something to do with the frontend changes. Perhaps you can see a way to take this into account.
Proposed workflow
Press Select Model (as before)
The list is displayed (as before, or with a scroll bar)
If you move the mouse over the models, preview images are displayed.
This helps tremendously when searching and selecting
Additional information
Just take a look at how cool it is to be able to work with it when you have multiple models in use.
