In the guide here:

https://github.com/EDCD/EDMarketConnector/wiki/Installation-&-Setup#linux

it says:

Now change Settings > Configuration > E:D journal file location to point to there.

There is no option for this in the current version.

Click on where it says "File" on that top bar. From there it will show some other buttons that include "Settings".
Once the settings menu is open, it should be already on the "Configuration" tab where you should see the place you put the location of the E:D Journal files.

It would be nice if the documentation mentioned that.

Hmm, quite odd. I have no idea. It displays in my menu when running the latest release (5.12.1) on Arch Linux.

It may be useful to send the logs for other people to help? Your original image said "Error in system profiler" and the logs may help others. No clue.

@CMDR-JohnAlex Can you select "About E:D Market Connector" and provide the version information there? I'm curious what version this is under, esp as the version profiler is missing.

@Rixxan Here is mine:

(The error for journal file location is not an issue, I moved my Elite install to another drive)

Like the image above and below shows, I'm currently at commit hash fc00839d, where it looks to me the Release/v5.12.1 tag is?

Edit:
Even switching to the latest commit on the main branch, I still have the settings menu while Bjohnson131 oddly doesn't.

Can either of you attach any log files you have? Maybe they have some answers for us.

@Rixxan Where can I find those?

@Bjohnson131 depends on your system. For you, it looks like you should be able to select open log folder under the Help menu.
