Thanks for you message, since Genshin is made with unity I extracted data using a unity extractor but slightly modified because data is stored in .blk files. I don't have a specific step by step tutorial on how to do it but I may try to extract 3D models from the game since this was planned but it was more complicated than textures :(

Yeah, I can foresee the difficulty of model extraction, but surprisingly it seems that some people know the tricks.

Don't know if this was posted but I was looking for the characters' whole texture, I still can't find it though.

Indeed entire characters textures seems to be missing and only contains some parts, only hair texture seems to be here, which character texture are you searching ? I'll try to find it in the game files :)

Actually these parts are not missing but hidden by the alpha values, which can be utilized as a mask.
If you use Photoshop, click Layer (at the top bar)->Layer Mask->From Transparency, click the mask and delete it.


And then the texture will be restored:

Oh that's smart I didn't thought of that, since I had all the mmd models of the characters I had a copy of their textures but make sense now :)

Hey, buddies! Recently I've found an interesting tool on Github named GenshinStudio, which can help extract some resources to play with (including 3D models). I think probably this is how others extract models from Unity Game source files (sad for Unity).

But play with attention, this process is still a little bit tricky, at least for me.

I had a modified version of this editor to extract some of the files but had some issues with 3d models and hierarchy optimisation apparently

Yep, the hierarchy is in a mess. I want to get some NPC models to play with, but their meshes are everywhere, which is hard to find the target model for extraction:(

Exactly :/ a solution would be to load everything so it can find all it needs but doing so just crashes the software so I'm limited to only loading a few hundreds blocks at once. I did tried mapping everything to know what to load but it's kinda hard
