Currently as implemented, the range is linearly scaled. We can add functionality for different kinds of scales (linear, logarithmic, power law, symlog, etc.). This is a possible enhancement!

Accidentally closed this issue (#8) by when I made a typo when committing the fix to Issue #7. This enhancement has not been addressed yet.
