Hi @colmdoyle

Is there any chance you could put the ideas post that was on the slack channel in here.
I can't seem to find it now due to the 10.000 message restriction :(

Thanks

Two of the "tentpole" efforts will likely be a mobile app for volunteers to sign up people on the streets to the mailing list, a list of counter arguments to some common myths and to generally coordinate efforts. Another will be an app for the general public include things like the selfie app that @liamodunne sketched up, some info on voting, details of events, plus somewhat crucially, a way to send a push reminder on polling day.

Twitter bot that provides analytic data on the referendum debate in the Twittersphere: monitors hashtags, records participation by particular accounts, tries to infer who's advocating for what, perhaps highlights particularly influential tweets or discussion threads?

Are any of these ideas underway?

I can't help but see the idea of a "push notification" as being more work and less impact than a well-timed Twitter Thunderclap and a mass email reminder.

@cathalgarvey I would imagine that most people are planning to work on things during the hack itself. As for push vs email vs tweeting, I would imagine the idea is to hit as many channels as possible, since turnout will be vital.
