The site currently renders a light or dark version dependent on the user's operating system preference.
It would be nice to be able to switch between light & dark modes manually (ignoring the system preference) or revert to the system preference.
Need to investigate if this needs JS or can be done purely with CSS, e.g. CSS custom properties.
