I tried it and get stuck after entering google credentials with an error that something went wrong which looks like it's caused by a google api deprecation from March 2021.

Is it easy to update this to a more recent version of Chromium?

For anyone else that finds this link - Chrome cut off the APIs being used by private chromium builds that were allowing you to login with google.

To get it working use API keys per the "Providing Keys at Runtime" docs on Chromium

Granted this is quite abit of messing about.

P.S
This option https://www.reddit.com/r/gpdwin/comments/r2dl5l/how_to_install_fully_stable_chrome_os_with_full/ also works on the pocket, albeit Chrome and not Chromium
