Overview:

We've addressed an issue in the Sunsynk integration where users experienced an excessive number of requests being made to api.sunsynk.net. This was due to the absence of a scan_interval configuration which determines the frequency of API polling.

Changes:

1. Added Scan Interval Configuration:

   • A new scan_interval configuration has been added to the Sunsynk integration.
   • By default, it's set to poll every 30 seconds. This ensures a balanced frequency of requests to the Sunsynk API.

2. Action Required for Users:

   • Users who have the Sunsynk integration added should re-add the integration to their Home Assistant instance. This will ensure the new scan_interval configuration is set.
   • Once updated, users should observe a significant reduction in the number of requests made to api.sunsynk.net.
