Could you please share detail steps and pre-requistes to compile and build the code.

Hi @praveen2211, of course. Now I don't have any document with steps for building the project, but there are the basics for it at docker-compose file:

Even with the docker compose file it will still miss some configurations, mainly at database. Sorry for having lack of documentation (new release with better docs might be coming at the end of this month). Although, we can have a call and talk about the project, how to build and use it if you want.

@praveen2211 I don't know whats your intention to use the project, but i already have an aws-ec2 machine running the project and you can connect your device to the cloud and mange it from there, like an oktopus tr369 demo. This ec2 machine is currently turned off, but i can turn it on for you to use.

Hi, I think I have been able to get it up and running via docker, I am getting the login page, but don't have the default login details. I saw your suggestion for the cloud version, but I would rather test it locally in case the server is a bit far and is affected by latency

If you don't have an admin account, the app automatically redirect you to the register page

So I managed to get to the register page with a few issues

1. I immediately get a popup window with an error about loading URL /admin/exists
2. All the requests to the different containers are being sent with the URL "localhost" so registration never completes even though I am using a subdomain. I tried using nginx to proxy but to no avail

The docker maps the port of the services to localhost, what's the status code retrieved? It seems like the backend is not running in your case.

I am using linux, to run the docker compose i got to devops folder and execute: 'docker compose up'

When you run the frontend it says that port 3000 is already in use and then your frontend starts at port 3001. Oktopus backend only allows requests from port 3000. Try to kill the process running at port 3000 and run the frontend again, it might work

@leandrofars I am able to bring up the docker imsages and login to system but facing issues while setting the device.I have followed the the mantioned steps please let me know if i have missed something.

• executed docker compose up command and brought up the server : ### Is successfull
• Tried to add users, set user and check if admin exists : ### which is working as expected.
• Tried to execute go run main.go -redis "127.0.0.1:6379" from /oktopus/backend/services/mochi/cmd : faced below error.
  --> added hook hook=allow-all-auth 2023/08/07 15:43:59 listen tcp :1883: bind: address already in use exit status 1.
  Had to stop moch docker instance which was running in 1883 and re-execute go run main.go -redis "127.0.0.1:6379" from /oktopus/backend/services/mochi/cmd :.

Now mochi is up on 1883 but not sure how to proceed further, please find attached screen shoits for the same.

you have to configure your IoT device, which must have obuspa (tr369 agent) running, to connect to oktopus (tr369 controller)

how can i integrate oktopus controller with obuspa (tr369 agent)?

Do you have a device with TR-369 support? If so, you must fill the device tr-369 config correctly accordingly to your network and oktopus (i can help with that, just provide some device info). In case you don't have any device with tr-369 support, you must compile obuspa at your machine and follow obuspa readme with instructions for usage, but this workflow will only be good if you intend to debug usp protocol and/or to develop something.
