sadakAI Project Code of Conduct

Welcome

Welcome to the sadakAI repository! This project aims to build an AI model that helps users with their software development career roadmaps. By analyzing individual skills, experiences, and career goals, sadakAI provides personalized recommendations for learning paths and skill development milestones, helping users effectively navigate their career progression. The model uses data from various sources to ensure that its advice is up-to-date and relevant. We are committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful community for all contributors.

Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in sadakAI a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community. Our focus is to build a collaborative environment that supports innovation in AI-based career guidance.

Our Standards

To maintain a positive experience for everyone involved in sadakAI, we expect all community members to adhere to the following standards:

Positive Behavior:

  • Respectful Communication: Show respect and courtesy in all interactions, making sure that discussions remain professional and productive.
  • Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback that helps others improve, focusing on problem-solving and growth.
  • Collaboration: Work together with openness, sharing ideas and solutions that contribute to the project’s development.
  • Inclusivity: Use language and actions that welcome all participants, ensuring that everyone feels included and valued.
  • Recognition: Acknowledge the contributions of others, whether through code, ideas, or support in discussions.
  • Lifelong Learning: Encourage learning and sharing knowledge, recognizing that sadakAI is designed to help users grow their skills and navigate career paths.

Unacceptable Behavior:

  • Harassment: Any form of harassment, including unwelcome comments, derogatory remarks, or inappropriate behavior, is strictly prohibited.
  • Discrimination: Discriminatory comments or actions based on personal identity, beliefs, or background are not allowed.
  • Disrespect: Trolling, personal attacks, or inflammatory comments that undermine the project’s goals will not be tolerated.
  • Privacy Violations: Sharing personal or private information about others without their consent.
  • Unethical Conduct: Engaging in behavior that misuses project resources, compromises the integrity of the project, or promotes false information.
  • Disruption: Any actions that deliberately disrupt conversations, progress, or the collaborative nature of the project.

Project Goals

The sadakAI project focuses on providing AI-driven career roadmap guidance for software developers. Our key goals include:

  • Personalized Career Guidance: Using AI to analyze users’ skills, experiences, and career goals to provide tailored learning paths and skill development milestones.
  • Up-to-date Recommendations: Leveraging data from multiple sources to ensure that recommendations remain relevant and aligned with current industry trends.
  • Helping Users Grow: The model helps users enhance their skills, plan their career progression, and navigate their professional journey in software development effectively.

Enforcement Responsibilities

Community leaders and maintainers of the sadakAI project are responsible for enforcing this Code of Conduct. They are expected to:

  • Define and communicate the community’s standards for behavior and participation.
  • Address violations of the Code of Conduct in a timely and fair manner.
  • Take corrective actions to address behavior that violates the standards, such as removing inappropriate comments or contributions.
  • Apply disciplinary actions, such as temporary or permanent bans, in cases of repeated or severe violations.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all spaces managed by sadakAI, including GitHub repositories, issue trackers, discussions, and other communication platforms. It also applies when community members are representing the project in public spaces, such as conferences, online events, or forums.

Reporting Violations

Instances of unacceptable behavior, harassment, or violations of the Code of Conduct may be reported by contacting the community leaders at [email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken to address any reported incidents.

We encourage all members to help us maintain a respectful and collaborative environment by reporting behavior that violates our standards.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

If a participant is found to have violated this Code of Conduct, the community leaders may take the following actions:

  1. Correction: A private conversation with the individual to address the violation and provide guidance on how to improve behavior.
  2. Warning: A formal warning that details the unacceptable behavior and outlines expectations for future interactions.
  3. Temporary Suspension: A temporary suspension from participating in the project or community spaces, with the possibility of reinstatement after review.
  4. Permanent Ban: Permanent removal from the project and all community spaces for repeated or severe violations.

Enforcement Guidelines

Community leaders will follow these enforcement guidelines when determining the consequences for violations of the Code of Conduct:

  1. Correction:

    • Community Impact: A minor violation that causes minimal disruption to the project.
    • Consequence: A private conversation to clarify the violation and guide improvements.
  2. Warning:

    • Community Impact: A moderate violation that disrupts the positive atmosphere or productivity of the project.
    • Consequence: A formal warning, with possible restrictions on participation.
  3. Temporary Suspension:

    • Community Impact: A significant violation that negatively affects community interactions or undermines the project’s objectives.
    • Consequence: Temporary suspension from participating in the project.
  4. Permanent Ban:

    • Community Impact: A severe or repeated violation that harms the community or the integrity of the project.
    • Consequence: Permanent removal from the project and all associated spaces.
