Insert "custom" records

Hi everyone,

The title of this discussion may not be very clear so I'll try to explain it like this : would it be relevant to have a possibility to insert into OpenTracks a "record" of an activity you actualy made but could not track with OpenTracks ?

Since Covid is less anoying these days, I resumed going to the swimming pool. I cannot bring my phone in the swimming pool so I cannot record the sport activity I did. So I thought, that would be a cool thing to be able to insert a new record inside OpenTracks for this kind of activity that cannot be tracked otherwise. For example, be able to enter the distance and the duration of the activity. OpenTracks could calculate the approximative pace of the activity, based on the figures given and they would show up also in the summary per activity.
Another use case would be to insert into OpenTracks an activity it would usually record but you did not have your smartphone with you when you did it.

I know this is a strange thing to ask since OpenTracks is an app to records activities. So, no offense if no one think this topic needs to be discussed.

I've looked around the issue list and it seems more or less like issue #937
