Ramp Characteristics to record

Ramp Slope
yes = 5 percent slope or les
slope between 5.1 and 10 percent
steep greater than 10%
Ramp Surface
-surface cracked, truncated half domes destroyed
Ramp Drainage
-puddles visible, weeds growing in gutter, gutter drain in line of travel

Equivalent Distances (ED) for each condition

Ramp is Good ED=0
deficient Slope (5-10%) ED = 500
deficient Slope(steep): ED=1000 ft
deficient Slope, Drainage: ED=1000 ft
deficient Slope, Drainage, Surface: ED = 2000 ft
deficient Drainage: ED=
deficient Drainage , Surface: ED=
deficient Surface, slope: ED=
deficient Surface: ED=
No Ramp: ED= 10, 000 ft
