On a related note, it may help if all artifacts created in the release workflow are attached to the GitHub release.

Looks like pypi/support#4188 is resolved 🎉

@max-sixty Do we think we can get a new release pushed to pypi in the near future?

I'll try to update the publish workflow with https://github.com/pypa/gh-action-pypi-publish https://www.maturin.rs/distribution.html#using-pypis-trusted-publishing

I've already update the PyPI side.

I believe it is necessary to create a new release for release to PyPI as it has been too long since the last release of this repo and the failed jobs from the last release cannot be retried.
