you don’t disassemble vendors to stop the machine intelligence, people just do this (annoyingly) to stop them from exploding if they don’t find the right one. all you need to do is disable the speaker and the machine will tell you it’s dying, and you’ve stopped the rampancy. if you can hack it with a multitool you can disable the intelligence

Fair enough. You still can't open their panel to hack them, however.
