Switching to Mariadb from Sqlite

Docker install failed miserably, so I took the direct route and installed the default setup just to get things working. Now that its working I'd like to change the database from Sqlite to Mariadb. I've made the configuration changes but they are not seen by the Part-DB software. This is after I cleared the cache and tried a new migration, but the migration reposts that it's already migrated. I've search the documents and tried everything I know but with no luck. I'm guessing that I probably need to just delete the existing database and remake it, but I'm at a loss. This is on Ubuntu Server 24.04.
