How to clear part-db database?

Hi, I did some playing around with the import function of part-db.
Now I have almost every item up to four times in my database.
Is it possible to delete/clear all parts with a single click oder via CLI?

Have a Look to the Installation docu. There IS the command to initialise the Database.
Did you get the import to work?

import worked fine, my datastructure was not correct. Thats why I had to fiddle arround and endup with multiple duplicates.

But I cant't find the command. I would expect to find it here https://docs.part-db.de/usage/console_commands.html

Found it by searching CLI commands.

For anyone else searching:
doctrine:database:create Creates the configured database
doctrine:database:drop Drops the configured database

Unfortunately this dows not help on an "Proxmox VE LXC" installation via Proxmox VE Helper-Scripts community

This should recreate the database.

sudo -u www-data php bin/console doctrine:migrations:migrate

I do not know If this will work with LXC

Hi Peter,

I created an empty debian LXC container an it works if you follow the debian installation guide.

Original .env.local default is:
DATABASE_URL="sqlite:///%kernel.project_dir%/var/app.db"

They do something like:
DATABASE_URL="postgresql://partdb:[email protected]:5432/partdb?serverVersion=12.19DATABASE_URL="sqlite:///%kernel.project_dir%/var/app.db"charset=utf8"

Via helper script installation you can drop the database, but you will not be able to do the doctrine:migrations:migrate step, because it causes some type of "databse does not exists" exception.

For my installtion I changed the database path as per default .env.local and I'm happy it works that way.

Maybe I'll raise an issue at helper script repository.
