[Q/A] How to run examples

What is the example you wish to see?

https://github.com/PlasmoHQ/examples are missing instructions on how to run examples.

Nested package.jsons use pnpm workspace syntax, but no such workspace is defined in the repository root

Is there any context that might help us understand?

• i wanted to run the with-background example, as I've found that my version of plasmo (latest) is not generating anything despite having a background.ts
• i thought "let's see if their example works"
• i visited the examples repo and read the README
• i attempted pnpm install in the example and in the root, but missing deps were announced

i see, i just saw that you use git submodules from the plasmo repo

@cdaringe yes - to run all the example, you will need to clone this whole repo and also its sub-module.

In term of initializing a new project with the example as scaffold - see #72 . I will get on it next week or so!
