Context/background

In both our platforms Users may face situations where they click on a link, expecting to access specific content, only to find that the content is no longer available. This can lead to user confusion. To increase user satisfaction and provide clear communication in such scenarios, we need to develop a technical solution. This is the second ticket in a milestone Solution for Unavailable content.
The solution to be the same as in the first ticket.

What needs to be done?

Create a mechanism that, when users click on a link to content that is no longer available, redirects them to an informative page. This page should convey a user-friendly message, explaining that the content is no longer accessible or has been moved.

To dos:

  • Display an customised Error 404 page when accessing unavailable content;
  • Redirect to a landing page with a pop-up message, for example: 'We're sorry, but the link you are trying to access is no longer available or may have been moved. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact our support team. Thank you for your understanding".

Depending on the technical solution, design files may be required to ensure that the visual presentation of the messages aligns with the overall platform design.

This relates to the following:

  • Deleted CON Profiles (Mentors)
  • Deleted TP Profile (Jobseekers)
  • Hidden TP Profile (Job seekers)

Thank you!
