Welcome to the ldr_tools_blender discussions section! Discussions are for topics that aren't suited to issues. Think of this as a forum for anything related to the Blender addon and its development. If you don't have a GitHub account, you can create one for free following the instructions on GitHub's website. Anyone with an account can make new discussions and post answers to existing discussions.

Please use discussions to

• Ask for help if you're confused about how to use the addon or what certain technical terms mean.
• Discuss potential changes and new features to help shape the future of the application.
• Request topics to add to the WIKI or documentation
• Ask for help with contributing to any of the code for the projects.
• Ask technical questions about the techniques used in the addon that may not be suitable as issues.

Please do not use discussions to

• Post or promote digital renders and content using the addon. The goal of discussions is to provide assistance and discuss development. For showcasing your work, there are a variety of places to do this such as the LDraw forums, the Bricklink Studio Forums, the DigitalLego subreddit, and many more.
• Ask for Blender help not specific to the addon. Blender has its own dedicated forums for asking for help as well as a variety of online text and video tutorials.

If you want to request a new feature or report a bug, make an issue in issues. If you're unsure if a topic is ok or not, just make the discussion. I'll let you know if it you should ask for help somewhere else or convert the discussion to a GitHub issue as needed. You can also ask questions on the LDraw forum, but I won't check them as frequently.
