[EDIT: This hasn't happened for more than one week, so maybe the latest Windows update fixed this]
When trying to preview the project, the editor randomly displays
"Failed to start preview.
Try reloading Construct 3 and try again."
Then "Preparing Project data" is displayed forever. without any opportunity to save the work or do anything.
Attach a .c3p
I don't have a minimal Construct project that reproduces the problem, but I can give you access to my full project in private.
Steps to reproduce
Open the project.
Press F5.
The editor randomly has the problem described.
I think this only happens when an image has been modified and "Preparing images" is displayed.
Observed result
"Preparing Images" is displayed for a while, then
"Failed to start preview.
Try reloading Construct 3 and try again."
Then "Preparing Project data" is loading forever. without any opportunity to save the work or do anything.
This happens randomly around 1 time out of 10.
Sometimes I have the problem just by opening the project and pressing F5 immediately.
Expected result
The editor should preview correctly the projet, or at the very least let me save my project!
Currently I'm losing my unsaved work everytime this happens.
