Overview

• Apply the reTerminal and its expansion board with embedded modem to provide the unit with cell connectivity and gps tracking.
• Step-by-step numerical process:
  1. Identify the OBD-II port in the vehicle, which is typically located under the dashboard near the steering wheel.
  2. Configure the CAN adapter to listen to the data traffic on the CAN network.
  3. Format the decoded data into a readable and trackable format, such as JSON or XML, which can be easily transmitted and understood by servers.
  4. Establish a connection to the designated server where the data should be published.
  5. On the server, receive and process the incoming data.
