related events.
## Expected Behaviour
All participants, including members, speakers, attendees, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, and anyone else associated
with R Sheffield events, are expected to:
Behave professionally and in accordance with this code of conduct, as well as their respective employer's policies
governing appropriate workplace behaviour and applicable laws.
Respect the inherent worth of every person and group, promoting a welcoming atmosphere that values diversity.
## Unacceptable Behaviour

- Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical
appearance, body size, age, race, religion, or any other protected status.
- Intimidation, stalking, or any form of harassment, whether in person or virtually.
- Use of abusive, offensive, or degrading language. Inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual advances, or
requests for sexual favours.
- Deliberate misgendering or use of rejected names.
- Sharing sexualized images or engaging in sexual behaviour in inappropriate contexts.
- Threats of violence or incitement of violence toward any individual.
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
- Harassing photography, recording, or logging online activity for harassment purposes.
- Sustained disruption of discussions or presentations.
## Consequences of Unacceptable Behaviour
R Sheffield event organisers may take appropriate actions depending on the severity of the incident, which could
include:
1. Issuing warnings to the offending individual.
2. Expelling the individual from the event.
3. Identifying the individual as a harasser to other R Sheffield members or the general public.
