I noticed that there are some files in the ./src that contain deprecated code that is no longer used or maintained.

I suggest that we remove these files from the repository to avoid confusion and potential bugs.
The deprecated code is probably used in some other files, review them as well.

Sure, the deprecated code might be used in the project. If you found any such stuff, substitute it with the supported methods.
