Project has no license

Is there any particular reason for the absence of a license?

If the maintainers are open to suggestions, I would like to cast a vote for the extremely permissive ISC License. My thought is that the degree of permissiveness guaranteed by the ISC License would encourage use of this project even in the more restrictive corporate environments in which SVN is likely to be used.
