When an entity's model is changed, the visual change is not reflected immediately. Also if the entity's model is removed, the entity retains the model and continues to draw.

I can add a list of what happens around model displays:
If you have more than 1 entity with the same .mdl , changing the body on one changes it on the rest
same thing as above but also happens with sequence keyvalue
changing the skin on models doesnt display at all, it always shows skin 0
the model and body is not displayed when using anything other than "model" or "body". Meaning that when using squadmakers which keyvalues are instead "new_model" and "new_body" (as well as new_skin) they do not display at all obviously
Now on sprites:
the rotation on sprites is diplayed incorrectly, its a mess that I cannot understand. For example if i change the sprite from angles 0 0 0 to angles 0 90 0, it goes upside down and such.
