The scores reported differ if the site is opened using http or https. Shouldn't be the case.

Probably because things such as navigator are different on insecure origins. Opening the site on Edge 18 on HTTPS is compared to the Edge 18 in the comparison are different, the HTTP score is used.

HTML5Test.com should force HTTPS by default. Check out my HTTPS-only updated fork.
