What is the current behavior?
Combining rich text tags with [pause] attributes produces incorrect behaviour.

Please provide the steps to reproduce, and if possible a minimal demo of the problem:
E.g. the line <b>1234[pause=500 /]5678</b> will pause after the 7 instead of after the 4. (Because the <b> is an extra 3 characters that are not in the final output.)

What is the expected behavior?
The line above should have a pause after the 4, not the 7.

Please tell us about your environment:

Other information
Not sure what the best fix for this is, or if there's any good workaround
