From Nick: "I dont have time to discuss right now because the event starts in less than an hour but the events page on new website is not working properly at all. The position editor is definitely broken. I will have to share my screen some time soon because I cant even explain what is wrong"

This indicates that we potentially need to completely rebuild the events system to fix many problems. Once I get a chance to talk with him I will update this issue
