Here's a hypothetical file structure:

FolderA (folder)

  • FolderA (note)

FolderB (folder)

  • FolderB (note)

Even though sync is turned on, when I change the title of the FolderB note to FolderA, the name of the FolderB is not updated and, afterward, if I click on the folder, it no longer takes me to the folder note. Don't know if this can be done, but I shouldn't be able to change the title of a note to the name of a folder with the same name.

So after playing with this a bit more, I discovered that I am indeed prevented from duplicating another folder if I press ENTER after editing the title. However, my normal practice is to move away from the title line using the down arrow, in which case there is no alert and the note-folder connection is severed.
