Config Transformation

Sorry there is no issue here, but trying to reach you and i could not find a better way. Currently i am experimenting with ASP.NET application inside a docker container. I cam across your article, it is an excellent article. But i use config.json file to store the database connection string. Is there a way i can use transformation for json file like web.config ?

What's config.json? Is this ASP.NET 4 or ASP.NET Core?

It is ASP.NET 4. Config.json is an external configuration file that store database connection information along with variants other configurations.

Do you have the code on GitHub somewhere or point me to an example? When I google it I see aspnet core stuff using config.json. Yon can use environment variables with core to override settings.
