The geometry subgroup decided that railroads and all subsequent elements from OpenDRIVE should not be part of v.1.0 of OpenMATERIAL. This is because railroads are not well enough defined in OpenDRIVE to be used in OpenMATERIAL. However, railroads might be part of later iterations of the standard.

Please comment if there are contradictory opinions.
