The addon can be compiled using the Add-On SDK by Mozilla
$ cfx xpi
It can be installed from https://addons.mozilla.org/.
The configuration options include a URL, as well as a checkbox for replacing the Private Browsing hotkey by the add-on's functionality. Both can be set in the preferences dialog of the Add-On.
