When using either an action or feedback that is based on a source within a scene ('Toggle visibility scene item' or 'Change colors when source enabled in scene', the scene dropdown shows all possible sources within OBS.

What would be useful if it was filtered based on the scene chosen in the other dropdown (or if no scene is chosen, then all sources within the current scene'

I was kind of thinking this too.

From my understanding based on this Slack thread, this is not currently possible with dropdowns in general in Companion. But I'll keep an eye on any changes and implement them into OBS if this is added

I am unsure whether I have properly understood the current problem. However, my approach would have been to send a request to OBS after the user selects the scene - 'Which sources are in this scene?' - and show the results in the dropdown of sources. I am unsure if that is possible, especially in the way I think it works, particularly with regard to updating the dropdown menu.

Yes the issue here is with dynamically updating the dropdown. We have all the data on what sources are in a scene, but not a way to update it currently
