IE: how humans become cyborgs behind a screen. I know most of the people I talk to hypertextually. In that moment, are they really human? I don't think so.
I don't have immediate access to them. I merely trust they aren't computers. What can I say about this?
I'm also literally in conversations with bots in the same space at humans. What's that about? What can I say about that?
The only answer to this dilemma seems to be employing the image of the cyborg.
