  • You need to restart VSCode, add it
  • You have to turn on the telemetry in VScode settings to make Codeium chat work.
  • Mention that Codeium can also be used with Vim/Neovim: https://github.com/Exafunction/codeium.vim
  • You can create a new VScode profile for this lesson, just like creating a new python environment for a new project. So you don’t bother disabling other plugins.
  • Right now it’s limited to VS code, but not everyone uses this IDE. Consider creating (install) instructions for PyCharm as well.
  • Update slides if needed
