New repo: await is an unexpected word?

In trying to set up a quick demo on my new work pc, any script I run terminates with this error.

                            ^^^^^

SyntaxError: Unexpected reserved word

Any ideas why? Ty!

Maybe you node.js doesnt support top-level await
