Can you easily change it so nodes do not have to route through the headnode?

New cluster install and I'd like to allow the compute nodes to talk directly on the vlan and not have to route via the headnode. We have a simple design where we only use a single 10GbE nic and all traffic goes over this one interface, including out parallel nfs storage (Vdura)
