Starter post "2018-02-23-welcome-to-jekyll" not showing in CMS? #33

Guess no major issue but the original starter post ("2018-02-23-welcome-to-jekyll" from the cloned repo) is not showing in the CMS on initial setup, using 'Deploy to Netlify' button: (the "test" post showing below is one added by myself manually)

Hmm wonder if it's because of the .markdown extension. That should work as an alias, but maybe its not.
