Install vagrant and virtual box, then provision a VM [with precise32 box] with jdk, mysql and tomcat7 configuration and a simple war deployed on tomcat.
Server port 8080 is accessible through public network of host machine. VM is configured with Private IP 192.168.0.2 and is accessible from host only.
Debian Linux, Tested on Ubuntu 12.04.
apply default recipe on node.
