Is there a bookmarklet for changedetection, or perhaps a browser addon?

I tried to code one. But that's simply not possible, because of the CSRF token. There's no way to know it prior to submit inside a window opened by javascript with the changedetection for to add a url, so this proposal is void.

So what needs to be adapted to make this possible like in tools such as Shaarli etc ?

Perhaps, a way to disable CSRF token explicitely in the settings. It's no problem if you are using a private instance, just to be used solely for you. The problem is that is enabled by default in Django.

@digfish As I forgot to ask, how hard is it to override this setting in a Django app ? Should that be change in the source code or can it be overridden with some parameter or environment variable passed to the build ? Thanks for the help ! :-)

What exactly would you like the bookmarklet to do? Just add the url to the watched list? Anything else?

Yes, that's all that's needed really.

In that case. Perhaps what you really want is a feature request so you can have queryparms in the url auto filling on the page. Then you can have changedetection.io/?url_to_add=https://google.com or similar and easily make a bookmarklet.
