Does Optima support ball joints? Spent a good day trying to get something working in "k" only to find out that it only supports rotations around one axis.

Yes, the support for this joint type can be seen here:
https://github.com/djrakita/optima/blob/c553cdd89eb7ecaec629c7c9e1062ee6eaa9c206/src/utils/utils_robot/joint.rs#L250-L254

Just let me know if you want help with robot setup as the instructions for that aren't posted yet
