Working on the submission

  • write paper.md and paper.bib files
  • get whedon to successful build
  • submit for review (will reference issue once we have one)
  • update content and release to reflect current state of repo (i will make a new release once all of the jose items are building
  • fix zenodo "type" right now it's registering as software - change it to "publication - subtype: book" which is the closest type i think to textbook
  • fix type for the ea python course repo and also the ea bootcamp course repo & create new release patch to fix the citation
    - [ ] update bib file one the above are fixed with a better citation type

NOTE FOR THE FUTURE.
Whedon is particular about bibtext format and this tool
helped me fix the bibtext format.

Also note that some of our zenodo citations for courses are tagged as "software" so i may want to fix that in the .zenodo.json files in the future.

@lwasser I have been submitting issues and a PR in this repo as I find things. Not sure exactly how the review should happen, but hopefully this format is helpful,

@snowman2 thank you so much! the issues are great! We will have to edit the original lessons which are actually in a private repository that also contains answers to some student assignments (why it's private). They are in jupyter notebook format. i'm happy to give you access to that repo OR we can just work on the issues as you submit them. i need to figure out a way to at some point pull answers from that repo OR to just move the CI build here for this specific textbook (which might be preferred).
