Using dependency injection (DI)

Hi there,

over at GH-727, we discussed whether it would be a good idea to use dependency injection or friends for providing the settings instance to all subsystems which need it.

Therefore, we collected a list of dependency injections libraries and frameworks and other resources for Python, which I would like to summarize here.
