Currently, the offline script is not updated when changes are made to client-side code during development, or for pre-release builds. As discussed in my first effort to address this in enketo/enketo-express#382, this behavior can lead developers and QA to mistakenly test against behavior of a previously cached offline script. We ultimately decided that the solution in enketo/enketo-express#382 is not appropriate, but will address it again in the future.
