close-on-content-click explanation

close-on-content-click is broken for at least the date picker. I have a bug ticket open because the paging feature doesn't work when the property is present. It appears that Vuetify has a similar issue. Searching the source code I can find several components that have that property present, but I can't find what its actually doing. I've got the source code cloned to try and work on it locally, but I cant make heads or tails of how its event working. Is this a property that's inherited from a library Vuestic and Vuetify are using?

For the date picker to function properly (IMO) it must have close-on-content-click enabled and loosing paging functionality isn't acceptable.
