OpenHunt was designed from the ground up to be community driven and open to everyone.
This makes it a great platform to contribute to whether it be submitting bug reports and feature requests to contributing code.
We love our community and encourage contributions but being so open felt it was right to establish some guidance and rules to keep everyone happy and on the same page.
If you have found a bug or would like to request a feature, you can do so by creating an issue here. This helps us keep everything organised and to discuss the request.
- Try and be as descriptive as possible.
- If you are submitting an issue, explain the steps to recreate the issue.
- Be respectful to others in the community.
You can also help us tackle feature and issue requests by contributing code to the project.
If you need help on getting started, please consult the readme before submitting issues as it might be able to answer some questions you might have.
- Fork the project here.
- Respect the code conventions used in the project to keep everything uniform.
- If your work is significant, create a feature branch.
- Explain the changes in your commit message for us to review.
- If you are working from an existing issue, tag the issue in your commit message
#issue-id
.
Thanks again for your continued support and above all, let's have some fun creating the best platform possible.
