I haven't been using Franken UI in a couple of month but it looks like something major has changed in the syntax. It seems like it's not fully compatible anymore with the regular UIKit syntax.
Using AI assistants in frontend work is challenging because of new features and syntax that is added to component libraries. This is why I really liked pre-1.0 versions of Franken UI because I could let GPT or Claude generate vanilla UIKit code, change the imports to Franken UI and get nice shadcn/ui like styling. However, this doesn't seem to work anymore. It looks broken now and the UI is completely messed up.
